About Bellwoods
“In the modern world of music there is no need to tie a musician down to one band” according to Morgan Cameron Ross. “Bellwoods is a collaboration, a collective. We are like-minded performers, producers, and artists who relish the opportunity to create and work together”. Bellwoods seeds were planted when Ross and former Stars guitarist, Alan Snoddy, started working on music together. With the pedigree and experience of playing in bands like Stars and, for Ross, Birds of Wales, the two clicked almost instantly. The true Canadian musical experience, Vancouver native (Ross) working with Montreal native (Snoddy) in the big smoke of Toronto. The collective, Bellwoods, newly formed, has been working with a diverse collection of friends and talent including Mary Lambert, who performed on, and helped pen the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis hit “Same Love”, Sum 41’s Cone McCaslin, Todd Clark of Pilot Speed, LA based producer and songwriter, Justin Gray, Josh Trager of the Sam Roberts Band, Miranda Mulholland of Great Lake Swimmers and Belle Star and celebrated Japanese visual artist, Tomori Nagamoto. Every relationship within Bellwoods is unique, whether as co-writers, producers, artists or performers. On stage Bellwoods could one night just be Ross and Snoddy, the next could be a full-on six piece with an assorted cast. Revolving around the idea and concept of collaboration, Bellwoods will undoubtedly ebb, flow, grow and entertain. Toronto duo, Bellwoods, is Morgan Cameron Ross(Birds of Wales) and Alan Snoddy(Stars)
