Rob Wasserman

Rob Wasserman, an American musician, makes unique projects, recording solos, duets and trios with various artists, such as Lou Reed, insisting no other musicians present on the set.
He plays bass of all kinds, specifically an electric upright bass called "Messenger Bass", and have accompanied artists such as Van Morrison and Elvis Costello. Wasserman describes his technique as resembling cello playing more than traditional bass methodology.
At one stage he joined Grateful Dead's Bob Weir to form Ratdog.
