About Fire In The Hamptons

Based within the backdrop of Los Angeles, locked deep in a Silverlake studio, lead singer Zack Arnett created a new sound. Combining dance-centric beats of the 80's with gritty synthesizers and catchy vocal melodies. Thus, Fire in the Hamptons was born. In 2010, Zack connected with award-winning producer/composer, Bert Selen. The two combined their eclectic vision, and nearly a year later, completed the, “Fire In The Hamptons”, full-length debut album, “F.I.T.H.” The record, mastered by Grammy award-winning engineer Brad Blackwood, features standout songs, “Humanimal”, “Children of the Sun,” and “Stargazer”, which one music blogger describes as, “one of those tracks that leaves you hooked on the first listen.” The album has had music featured in films, TV, and commercials, such as: “Feels So Good”, “Gossip Girl”, “Awkward”, “Jersey Shore”, “Snooki & Jwoww”, Verizon, Logitech and USPS. It has also been featured in online promos for Ray-Ban, Vogue Magazine and Bergdorf Goodman. “Humanimal” has been played on LA's tastemaker radio station, KCRW. On stage, the music comes alive with enough energy to make venue security dance. The five-piece band is lead by Zack on vocals, Aaron Bilyeu on drums, Ian Dowd on guitar, Emvy Venti on synth/piano, and the newest addition Johnny Whitlock on keys/ vocals. Since their first show in 2012, Fire in the Hamptons has been building a buzz that continues to fuel their fire. House Of Blues set the stage for what would become a whirlwind of live shows. The Roxy, Viper Room, Avalon, The Mayan, Key Club, Satellite, are just a few of the rooms who's walls echoed with the sound of the band. They performed at the indie music festival, “Echo Park Rising” and headlined Monterey’s festival, “First Night Monterey”. They headlined at Project Ethos, and Gen Art fashion shows during fashion week, and were selected to perform on a KROQ Locals Only Showcase with Young Blood Hawke. The Band continues to rise, after a successful KICKSTARTER campaign funded the production of a new EP titled, "Chosen Ones”, scheduled to release September 2014. Find out what's next.
