Simon Kinny-Lewis is one of the new breed of blues guitarists making his mark worldwide.
He takes the audience with him on a seismic journey of compelling blues guitar – along with a voice that Steve Lukather (guitarist Toto, Michael Jackson, Ringo Starr) describes as being similar to American blues star Joe Bonnamassa.

Simon’s own original brand of contemporary blues and rock has created a loyal fan-base of guitar enthusiasts around the globe. He has performed and recorded with highly regarded musicians such as Chris Cain, Anton Davidyants, Nate Ginsberg (Herbie Hancock’s band), Christian Howes, Simeon Cain (Henry Rollins Band) and many more.

He has produced five albums to date with his most recent “Catfish” reaching #1 on the Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Charts. (Simon’s first solo acoustic album that also features Australian harmonica great Chris Wilson).

His debut band album “Bad Whisky” is due for release mid 2018 and features his incredible band that includes top Sydney musicians Tony Boyd (drums), Shannon Stitt (Hammond) and Rob Ewan (bass). Together they are a formidable musical combination and have been turning heads at some of Australia’s biggest festivals including Thredbo Blues Fest, The Australian Blues Music Festival, Gympie Muster, Manly Jazz Fest, Tamworth Country Music Festival, Kiama Jazz & Blues Festival, and Bluestone Blues.

2017 ended on a high note with a string of shows in California with US Blues legend Chris Cain. 2018 is shaping up to be another big year with international tours scheduled throughout USA, Europe, South America and Indonesia, and also an Australian tour later in the year.
