She's made the GRAMMY Award ballot 10 times, and is a member of the Songwriters & Composers Wing, as well as the Producers & Engineers Wing of the Recording Academy. AVA'S BACK STORY:
Ava Lemert was born in Covina, in Southern California, into a musical home. Making music has been a passion of Ava's since she was a toddler —singing, drumming on bowls, while they were recorded onto her sister's cassettes! Eventually, Ava was her High School's first underclassman, as well as the first female Drum Major. After college, living in an apartment was not conducive to playing a sax or performing/writing music, so it wasn't until, when as a mother of a toddler, she got her old saxophone back out of storage, re-learned how to read sheet music so she could help found a community marching band. Now, over a decade later, Ava is dedicated to writing, and performing her extensive catalog of original works, as well as her favorite cover songs in addition to producing, recording, performing and mixing from her own studio, My Blue Heaven Studio.
Ava is currently actively performing in her home state of California, and her music can be heard worldwide on most streaming, and online music services.
