Reina del Cid, Marah in the Mainsail, and Farewell Milwaukee at First Avenue with Good Morning Bedlam Tickets → bit.ly/2rHhmZM General Admission: $12 advance | $14 doors 18+ / ID Required Reina Del Cid: Part singer songwriter group, part rock band you can find REINA DEL CID and company at the intersection of lyrical storytelling, catchy riffs, and scorching solos. After building a devoted online following as a solo artist, Del Cid teamed up with talented musicians Toni Lindgren, Zach Schmidt, and Andrew Foreman to develop a sophisticated sound with broad appeal, drawing in mixed crowds from jamheads to college students to white haired intelligentsia. Marah in the Mainsail: Cinematic is the word most often used to describe Minneapolis based Marah in the Mainsail. The sound is dark and mysterious at it’s core. With layers upon layers of dynamic turns, from the hopeful highs of “Fox hole” to the guttural darkness of “the Great Beyond’. Between Durry’s true grit voice, and Mercedes tender subtlety, you’ll find a vast array of narrative and stylistic possibilities. Farewell Milwaukee: Minneapolis band Farewell Milwaukee released their fourth full-length album, 'FM', on September 9, 2016. FM is the product of successfully achieving the balance of furthering their artistic careers with a family life. “[The album] has the first song ever written about my daughter, called ‘Hurt No More,’” says front man Ben Lubeck. "I texted my wife a few weeks ago after revisiting the album saying that this was the record I wanted my daughter to remember me by. Musically and lyrically.”
