Jonny Moody is a 31-year-old guitarist, singer and songwriter from the south coast of England. He has performed countless gigs around the UK and Europe, and has a growing fan base in the USA.

Playing solo or part of bands, he takes pride in performing other artists' work with respect and admiration. Jonny is first and foremost a music fan and is passionate about discovering music from the past and present.

Whilst carving out a successful career as a covers artist, Jonny has always spent his free time writing his own material. He has never minded playing the music of others and says he almost sees it as a form of apprenticeship, helping him to hone his skills and grow as a musician and writer.

In 2016, with his 30th birthday looming, Jonny set himself the task to release a debut record labelled with his own name in time for his milestone birthday.

Five-track EP Alone, Not Lonely was written and recorded at Jonny's home studio and released on October 20th, 2016. Relishing the opportunity to include more original music into his cover gigs, Jonny quickly returned to the studio to start work on his second EP Kingfisher Blue.
Now complete, Jonny Moody has two records to take into 2018 as an artist in his own right and the future couldn't look brighter.
