Back at the Basie baby!! This is where my friendship with Glen Burtnick began. I was a guest on his annual Christmas show at the Basie back in 2003 I believe.... It was special night alive with the energy of Christmas, giving, and family. ( the audience was asked to bring canned foods for a donations to those in need and they did, Glen's whole family was on stage at one point or another performing with him and I left knowing that I was a part of something beautiful. Ever since that show, when I get the chance to make music with Glen, I come-a-runnin'. We're celebrating the 50 th Anniversary of the “Summer of Love” 1967 with all your favorite music from the Woodstock Montery Pop era. I'll be performing some of my favorite hits from Sly and The Family Stone, Otis Redding and the 5th Dimension. There's so much music in this show including, The Doors, The Beatles, Joplin, Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, and Joe Cocker. I've been touring with this show for the past seven years and I'm still having a blast like I did the first time I rocked with Glen and his incredible family of musicians. It's a Family Affair.
