Yonatan Gat and his band are doing something you will not see anywhere else. The power trio sets up on the floor for a ritual in which they and their audience become one frenzied sweaty mass. Gat’s guitar channels wild trance-indusive improvisations that go everywhere from Afrobeat grooves to free jazz, Middle Eastern surf to Brazilian psych. Sometimes all in the span of just one song, weaving styles together like the great jazz musicians of the 60's. Backed by Cinque Kemp 's hard-hitting African-inspired grooves, and Sergio Sayeg's deep pumping bass, they are a truly not to be missed act.
