Melbourne-based emerging pop queen Maxon announces intimate tour of the east coast! Currently shaking audiences across the state with her trademark vocal and boundless song-writing talents, Maxon is celebrating new music (to be released mid 2018) and with no better way than a small Aussie road trip tour! In three short years of launching, Maxon has inked herself deep into the Melbourne music scene. With the release of her debut EP (showcased at The Workers’ Club) ‘New World’ in 2016, and a successful audition on The Voice Australia with her own rendition of Delta Goodrem’s ‘Wings’, this July saw Maxon release her new single ‘No Impersonator’ to a sold out Paris Cat Jazz Club. 2017 has been an incredible journey for Maxon, having performed alongside Australian favourites, Gretta Ray and Ella Hooper (MOTH International Women’s Day Show), Angie McMahon, Kylie Auldist, and Wendy Matthews. Maxon has been involved in showcasing the Mornington Peninsula’s finest in this years’ Music Victoria Music Crawl, St Kilda Festival’s LivenLocal with Hachiku, and two packed shows with this years’ incarnation of the If You See Her Say Hello choir at The Toff in Town, presented by Melbourne Fringe Festival. Those lucky enough to see Maxon live in the coming months will witness a stirring the Australian music scene is yet to encounter. This tour will be complete with private house concerts, small solo shows and end with her 5 piece full band back at home on the Mornington Peninsula. Maxon is excited to test and share her new songs with a whole new audience prior to releasing them this year.
