Imagine if John Mayor met with Ed Sheeran and they all went to Atlanta. That's the sound of singer-songwriter Abe Parker. When Parker first moved to Atlanta he was sleeping in his car and taking any opportunity to perform. Parker began working with Jan Smith (vocal coach for Justin Bieber, Usher and Colbie Callat) and opened for acts such as Andy Grammer, Ben Rector, Switchfoot, David Crowder and many more. But after saving for years to make a record, his dreams were crushed when his house was broken into and most of his studio gear was stolen. Heartbroken, he packed up his car and prepared to head back to his small hometown, Blue Rock, Ohio. On his way out of the city, Parker had a date that had been scheduled a few weeks earlier. Unexpectedly he fell in love, and after three weeks away he packed up again and moved back to Atlanta to begin dating. Ever since, things have turned around for Parker. He is now touring full time from NYC to Austin, he saved up and will be releasing his new record on January 4th, 2018 and he married his lovely Georgia girl in April of 2017! Come hear the songs behind the story at his CD release concert at the Vinyl at Centerstage in Atlanta, GA on January 11th!
