SBD presents: REDFACES
Friday February 9th

RedFaces are Sheffield's newest major label indie band. RedFaces - Harry Lyon, Isaac White, Charlie Yapp and Ryan Laycock - signed to RCA Records and have put out three cracking singles in the past two years, in the shape of 'Kerosene', 'Wise Up' and 'Take It Or Leave It'. They are giving giddy Britain a nostalgia-heavy mix of guitars, melodies and youthful spirit that's becoming hard to resist.

Most recent single 'Take It Or Leave It' was BBC Introducing Single of the Week and has recently been playlisted on Radio 1, Radio X, 6 Music and Absolute. 2018 is going to be the year they break through. Catch them now and be a part of their rising.

THE BARRATTS
The Northampton quintet's' debut EP Open Wounds and Windows has been making its presence known across the UK's indie scene since its release in June 2016 (celebrated with a capacity show at The Northampton Roadmender, and a national headline tour). Having become an increasingly [inter]national band, The Barratts fanbase has flourished in pockets, much due to their charming songwriting and captivating live performances. They simply never fail to deliver the goods.

PHANTOM ISLE
Slathered in sun-drenched guitars, soaring vocals and urgent synths reminiscent of Tame Impala, Peace, Suede and Oasis, Phantom Isle's late '60's vintage styling has been dragged through 90s BritPop and grunge grit. Their lyrics represent millennial experiences, from love disillusionment to political scandal, creating a dynamic, distinct sound. Originating from Northamptonshire, Sam, Josh and brothers Pete and Matt spent 12 months crafting their sound in a secret countryside hideout. Now soaking up North London life, Phantom Isle made their indents on the scene with tracks 'Channel' and 'Nightmare', available on Spotify and YouTube. For fans of: Tame Impala, Thee Oh Sees, Temples, Mac DeMarco
