Returning once again to Stockport's premier live music venue 'The Spinningtop' The guitarist, singer and bluespoet LARRY GARNER (born 1952) from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has been celebrated as the "best" contemporary songwriter of the blues (West Coast Blues Rev) since his groundbreaking album "YOU NEED TO LIVE A LITTLE" (1995, Verve) .

Larry's interpretation of the blues sounds fresh and modern. Respect for the tradition and influences of the Swamp Blues Old masters Silas Hogan and Clarence Edwards are perfectly reflected in Garner's music.

Joining forces once again with the Norman Beaker band whom perform regularly aross Europe.
Norman, a blues guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer known in the British blues scene since 1970 and has already made recordings with many blues artists such as Graham Bond, Jack Bruce, Chuck Berry and Jimmy Rogers, Alexis Korner Buddy Guy and BB King. The Beaker band tours regularly as a band unit in its own right as well as with Chris Farlowe and Van Morrison. As a session guitarist, he was involved in numerous CD recordings including Jack Bruce, Lowell Fulson, James Booker and Van Morrison.
