Residing just outside the Croatian city of Pula is the visually stunning Fort Punta Christo, the venue that welcomes thousands of avid music lovers and countless talented electronic music artists every year for Dimensions Festival. Taking place over 5 days in August and September, Dimensions is a celebration of the world’s most creative underground music in one of the most unique festival locations the world has to offer. With a number of arenas and stages that are constructed within and in the surroundings of the nearly 200 year old fort, you will be lost for words in the places you will be dancing to your favourite DJs and live performers. Whether it be deep inside the cavernous 100m long ‘The Moat’, within the circular ‘Ballroom’, amongst the hills on ‘The Void’ or in the many other unlikely places the music will radiate from, there is one thing that is certain, Dimensions is like no other. The music you will hear at Dimensions brings together everything that is great about the underground electronic sound. In true words, there are two types of music, good music and bad music, so here genres are a blurred line that allows musicians, DJs and music fans to come together and revel in the warmth that washes over the Croatian coast all summer long. Fans of eclecticism will be right at home, as techno will erupt from the hills from DJs of the ilk of Ben Klock, Dave Clarke, Blawan, Robert Hood, Derrick May and long time legends like Underground Resistance. Lovers of dub and drum & bass will be catered for as influential artists like Mala, Kode 9, Calibre and the Iration Steppas will do their things in the Mungo’s Arena, powered by the legendary Mungo’s Hi Fi Sound System. There is house music a plenty with Motor City Crum Ensemble, San Soda, Moodymann, Floating Points and Theo Parrish appearing in previous years and so much more to sink your teeth into. For the opening of Dimensions Festival, yet another unique event takes place in one of the largest 2000 year old Roman Amphitheatres in existence, continuing on the truly breath-taking areas you will be able to visit and dance in during a trip to Dimensions and Fort Punta Cristo.
