ERIC RANDOM

A key figure on the experimental, post punk Manchester music scene, Eric began by forming the rather short lived, now legendary Tiller Boys, whose name is still seen today on the iconic Factory poster which was designed by Peter Saville.

Then in the early eighties, and working under the name Eric
Random, he received recognition not only for a number of album and single releases of his own, on labels such as New Hormones, Double Vision and Les Disque du Crepuscule but also for his numerous collaborations with the likes of Cabaret Voltaire and with Nico of the Velvet Underground with whom he worked with for almost seven years.

Eric is recording and performing work more akin to his electronic roots, with release of two albums Man Dog, Words Made Flesh and now his latest album Two Faced, all released on Viennese post punk imprint Klanggalerie.

GAGARIN

Gagarin is the solo nom de plume of Graham Dids Dowdall making instrumental electronica that doesn't adhere to or belong in any particular scene or style. His latest album Corvid continues the path of recent work driven by aching melody, treated and raw foundsounds, subtle beat programming, distressed atmospheres and space. His influences lie as much in psychogeography, acoustic ecology and beat science as they do in the wide range of musics that inform him.Gagarin's history to date includes an extended period playing with Nico in the 80s and a list of collaborations over the years including John Cale, Ludus, Eric Random, Suns of Arqa, Band of Holy Joy, Raf & O, Low Bias, Zor Gabor.

Currently he is a member of avant rock legends Pere Ubu and duo Roshi ft. Pars Radio, and when he's not exploring the outer reaches of the sonic galaxy Graham is a leading community music practitioner, expert in music and disabilities and a lecturer at Goldsmiths.

Summer 2016 saw Gagarin commissioned to create 5 pieces in response to 5 hills in Surrey to accompany walks and reworks of these pieces, which feature recordings made in situ appear on Corvid.

Gagarin gigs regularly in UK and Europe with a hardware combination of drumpads, samplers, iPad and FX creating sets that range from free-form improv to fractured dance music.

Corvid was released at end of Nov 2017 and has been gaining lots of great reviewS across Europe and regular airplay on BBC 6, Amazing Radio, Resonance fm, RTE, Bayern2, numerous more German and other European radio.

POLYPORES

Polypores makes haunted space music using an ever-expanding mound of synthesizers, samplers, and old tape recorders. Bleak, icy drones give way to 1970's Sci-Fi synth lines, throbbing bass rumbles ominously beneath a psychedelic haze of wistful melody and disembodied voices.

Polypores has had sold-out vinyl, cassette, and CD releases on labels such as Polytechnic Youth, Concréte Tapes, and A Year In The Country. His new album "The Impossibility" was released on Polytechnic Youth Records in November 2017.
