Push those Christmas carols out the way for one night cause for the 5th year in a row, we bring you the Alternative X-Mas Rock Out at The Black Griffin! Flame Pilots will be performing a full show of original songs and "their very own" alternative X-mas song, St Nick's Lament, complete with sleigh bells and evil costumes, with their continued message of hope and positivity, of course... ;) Joining them this year is the young and super talented blues rock cool dudes from Ashford, Himali Blues. They've been very busy this year, gigging all over and playing various festivals, and will be ripping their riffs through your ears and making your jaw drop. Don't miss them! Very excited to have them on the bill. This is always "the" busiest Live Music Monday of the year, so come be part of it and let's Rock! \m/ :D

Himali Blues Biography
Formed in 2014, Himali Blues is an emerging band with some punch. Playing the blues rock, with influences from bands such as R.H.C.P, Pink Floyd and legends such as Hendrix, SRV, to more modern rock players such as John Mayer, We are mostly an original band and prefer playing our own music. Our music is a blend of blues, hard rock, alternative and indie. Its really a pot filled with melodies that bring out different colours and emotions. And it is all done in added Nepalese flavour as all of the band members come from the foothills of the great mountain range, home of the brave Gurkhas as they say, hence the name Himali Blues, blues coming from the heart of the mountains. The hope of the band, through its lyrics and music, is to bring people from different cultures and backgrounds together through their music.
