About this concert
Patrick Bliss, Dora Bullock, and accompanist Timothy Maddox perform hits by Kander and Ebb in this installment to the composer series! John Kander and Fred Ebb met in 1962 through their mutual music publisher Tommy Valando. Over the next forty years the duo wrote a number of famous and well loved musicals, including "Caberet" and "Zorba." The award winning "Chicago" became the longest running American Broadway Musical and Longest Running Revival in 2014. They wrote considerable material for Chita Rivera and Liza Minnelli, whose career was kick started with their "Flora the Red Menace." Hits from their catalog include "All that Jazz," "Why Should I Wake Up," "Isn't This Better," and "New York New York," Sinatra's signature tune.

Music is what connects him to God and accelerates his faith journey. He's been a worship leader with Centenary United Methodist Church in New Bern, NC for over eight years and hopes that his efforts and original music will help bridge the gap between secular music, non-believers, and create new believers and disciples for God's kingdom.
Patrick draws inspiration heavily from artists like NEEDTOBREATHE, Zach Williams, and Crowder while being heavily influenced by secular artists from all genres.
