Theatermania calls Ebersole "a Broadway broad at the top of her game," which is high praise considering the versatile actress-singer-comedian has been knockin' 'em dead for more than 40 years (and counting). Most recently seen in "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" and "The Wolf of Wall Street", Ebersole won her Outstanding Actress Tonys for playing Dorothy in "42nd Street" and Edie Beale in the acclaimed musical "Grey Gardens", and she just wrapped a Tony-nominated run in the hit show "War Paint". But her remarkable career has also taken her from soap operas and SNL to the cabaret stage and jazz album charts. Now coming to the Broadway Concert Series at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, she'll be joined by pianist-host Seth Rudetsky, who's probably more qualified to share a stage with her than anyone on the planet. Rudetsky's been dubbed "The Mayor of Broadway" by "The New York Times" for his vast knowledge of the Great White Way and for hosting his own backstage chatfest on Sirius XM. This duo will definitely be serving up some hot dish at this sure-to-be entertaining night of music and laughs.
