Tokens Show returns to the Mother Church of Country Music November 19, 2017, 7:30 p.m. with the annual "Thanksgiving at the Ryman," special guests Matt Maher, Audrey Assad, Todd Suttles, Leslie Satcher, the Lipscomb Academy Concert Chorus, host Lee C. Camp and more. Taped for a special Thanksgiving day radio broadcast. The Nashville Scene has recognized the Tokens radio show as Nashville's "Best Local Variety Show" which is a "grass-kicking shredfest" that is a "huge success," with "genre-bending creativity." The Tennessean calls it "one of a kind," and a "virtuouso ensemble." Prominent Nashville music critic Peter Cooper opined that Tokens "is amazing. It's amazing that [Tokens] has integrated music, humor and scholarship into something so seamlessly entertaining." Other reviewers have called Tokens "spectacular" and "provocative."
