Born in 2015, Oakland's "El Duo" blends lo-fi electronics and afro dance grooves with a natural sense of wonder. Drawing from their deep love of improvisation, drummer/producer Randy Schwartz (Brett Dennen, Illumination) & keyboardist Harrison Murphy (Sun Hop Fat, Harry & the Hitmen) curate unique and inspired soundscapes for audiences. El Duo weaves together its unabashed brand of experimental dance music under an umbrella of vintage synthesizers and drum machines.
