American singer and songwriter, Taalib Johnson, professionally known as Musiq Soulchild will hit The Tangier Cabaret stage for the first time. The myriad of music influences and styles that he includes in his writing such as R&B, Funk, Blues, Jazz, Gospel, and Hip Hop make him a truly unique, talented, and entertaining artist. Musiq Soulchild has 2 platinum albums, 2 gold albums, and 7 hit singles. Musiq has also earned award nominations from MTV, The American Music Awards, and the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) whom have hosted and continue to host annual events at Tangier's restaurant!
