Jack The Envious and Defences are hitting the road together for a South UK Tour! Bringing you an energetic post-hardcore experience including breakdowns, screams and the best local support the scene has to offer. Jack The Envious After returning to London from their hometown SOLD OUT show and their September run, JTE tour with their 2nd EP "In Your Own Way" which got attraction from the likes of Rocksound and Kerrang magazines. Bringing a fresh take on Post-Hardcore with catchy melodies, heavy riffs and a lot of energy. The group provides a fresh take on the female-fronted metal genre, with frontwoman Cherry Duesbury's voice being described by Kerrang!'s Alex Baker as “deliciously androgenous". Jack The Envious Biography
Jack The Envious is a 4 piece Punk/Alternative band that fuses catchy choruses, with guitar-driven sound that is influenced by the likes of Linking Park and the 2000s Pop Punk scene.
In 2016 the band released their debut EP (Pull You Down) followed by some very successful shows and local critical acclaim.
The band’s roots go back to founding members Nir Perlman (Vocals) and Guy “Chuck” Checkarov (Bass) meeting during their military service in Israel.
In 2017, the band has found a home in the busy city London and immediately began working on their 2nd EP (In Your Own Way) which was followed by their 3rd EP (Bleeding Honestly) in 2018.
Both releases were produced and mixed by the band's frontman, Nir Perlman.
Following their 2017 release, James Macpherson (Drums) and Emanuel Andrade (Guitar) hopped on the wagon for an extensive phase of tours around the UK, including notable venues such as The Underworld Camden, O2 Academy Islington, Scala, The Key Club to name a few.
By the end of their touring cycles, they had shared the stage with bands in the likes of DREAM STATE (UNFIED), Walkways (Nuclear Blast), Parting Gift (Fearless Records), selling out shows in London and Israel alike.
The band is currently working on their first full length, which the band claims to be "an exciting new direction".
The album is due 2020.
