"Be the One" fundraiser for the Refuge

BE THE ONE with special musical performance by Hanna Barakat

The West Elm of downtown Austin will be hosting a fundraiser for an wonderful organization called "The Refuge" which is an incredible one of a kind non-profit who is opening a safe haven ranch for young girls who are victims of sex trafficking here locally in Austin. There will be 75 girls living on this incredible property, with the chance to rehabilitate, and learn how to become incredible young women.

At this event, clients can come in and buy products, furniture, and more for the girls to use at the ranch! Spread the word and support this wonderful cause with us!

Hanna performs renditions of countless cover tunes, infuzing them with her unique voice and perceptive interpretation. You will hear music from artists such as Adele, John Legend, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Steely Dan, Justin Timberlake, Chaka Khan, and many more.
Hanna Barakat is a Lebanese-American singer/songwriter/guitarist, graduate of Berklee College of Music and international performer. Influenced and inspired by hard rock and popular music styles, Hanna’s unique style merges Arabic/oriental influences for powerful and genuine connection with her audience. Socially and politically charged, her passion-driven compositions and performances often add Arabic ornamentation, as well as other musical influences to transcend language and borders to touch the heart.

Aside from touring in Lebanon, Middle East, Hanna has toured through the Ottawa-Gatineau , Canada area, the states of Yucatan and Guanajuato, Mexico, as well as numerous cities within the United States of America.
