Award-winning jazz pianist Tamir Hendelman is a phenomenon -- blistering technique, quick wit as an improviser, and profoundly refined pianism. Hendelman plays alongside upright bassist, Alex Frank and jazz drummer Dean Koba. Together, the trio explores jazz standards, Brazilian music, blues, and Tamir's Israeli roots. "[Tamir’s] playing... was so sensitive, introspective and captivating, that you could literally hear a pin drop in an audience of some 500 people." - Fred Eckstein, LA Jazz Scene.

This concert is presented as part of the Neustadt JAAMM (Jewish Arts, Authors, Movies and Music) Festival at the Mizel Arts and Culture Center at the Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center in Denver. All are welcome! [Organizer's description]
