Stop into The Gramophone the 1st Friday and the 3rd Saturday of every month to check out what Nick Gusman is up to. You will not only catch laundry-list of self-penned folk/americana tunes, but will hear some of his favorites from other songwriters such as Todd Snider, Bob Dylan, Chris Knight, Tom Petty, etc. You can even try to sneak in a request as well. Nick's original tunes seem to focus around the working-class and struggles many of us can relate to. Nick Gusman is one of STL's up-and-coming songwriters and never fails to deliver a great performance.

"Hello to the hard times, goodbye good times...
I'll see you 'round" is an excerpt from the title track on Nick Gusman's debut Folk/Americana record, "Dear Hard Times". Though desperation is heard on top of the songs blunt and honest lyrics, underneath there is a wave of confidence. Taking note of inspirational artists like Dylan and Prine, Nick's songs are chock-full of imagery, and storytelling. Dear Hard Times will be released late-2018. Nick Gusman is an STL native, playing mostly in South Saint Louis. A July 2018 tour brings Nick to the Northwest, taking him to Seattle and back.
