About this concert
NOVA TWINS www.facebook.com/NovaTwinsMusic "NME - "Formula One basslines, Rage Against The Machine aggrandisement makes for a hefty urban punk sniper bullet to the forehead." The Guardian - "Nova Twins are all about that bass: the lurching, grinding, seismically distorted, FX-mangled sound that propels the music of this young London due". "Nova Twins are happening without your permission". AfroPunk - "No matter what mood you're in, every single track is a banger and in this neo-feminist age of unapologetic dominance, members Amy Love and Georgia South ask all the questions and have all the answers". Alex Baker (Fresh Blood, Kerrang) In short... ‘’Two piece creating a genre of their own, Urban Punk sums it up perfectly…with vocals as sharp as the busted windows of an East London derelict factory and basslines that Bruno Mars’ bassist would be proud of. Reminds me of old-school lively Hip-Hop. These guys have got it all’’. Louder Than War - "The EP is a powerful onslaught of sonic attacks and is an example of the explosive and raw effect the duo can achieve when mixing up a stew of futuristic riffs and ‘cut like a knife’ vocals." + BROCKLEY FOREST www.facebook.com/pg/BrockleyForest Groove rock duo from Bristol England. → After the Live Music, our weekly resident DJs will be blasting through all the biggest Indie Rock & Festival Anthems till 3am! → Expect to hear the likes of: The 1975, Foals, Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Vaccines, Nirvana, Slaves, Bastille, Foo Fighters, New Order, The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, The Libertines, OTSA, The Clash, Pulp, MGMT, Bloc Party, David Bowie, Oasis, Muse, Led Zeppelin, RHCP, Pixies, Franz Ferdinand, The Kooks. Brockley Forest Biography

Brockley Forest are the rock duo making all the noise in the Bristol underground music scene this year. Since supporting touring bands like ‘Fidlar’ ‘Honeyblood’ and ‘Bob Log iii’ in their hometown and selling out their limited edition physical releases, the duo are now writing new material following the release of their latest EP ‘The Die has been Cast’.

Although the duo have been friends since the age of 11, their friendship was truly cemented after embarking on a three-month cross-country trip through America, spanning 10,000 miles and culminating in two weeks in LA where they ended up temporarily living in the Mojave desert, before returning home and forming Brockley Forest.

Brockley Forest have completed two UK tours in 2015 and 2016 and performed at festivals including Dot to Dot, BBC 6 Music Festival, Green Gathering, Farmfest, Bristol Harbourside and Bristol Balloon Fiesta.
