We are all in the basement, but some of us are looking up at the stars... Stargazing is all about spotting those stellar new artists and giving them a place to shine each month. Expect some unlikely constellations where talent might be the only thing they have in common. And all from the subterranean comfort of the charming Green Note basement.

Tonight featuring Zola Marcelle + Nick Tudgey + Cavey

ZOLA MARCELLE
Singing what she calls 'Drizzle Cake Jazz,' this young lady's sound will have you head-nodding, face-pulling and everything in-
between.

Likened to Lauryn Hill and Laura Mvula, Zola has been recording and performing for over a decade and her journey has been creatively captured in her new EP, 'A Peaceful War'. Expertly produced
by Aron Kyne, the record invites listeners to ponder angels, ankle sprains, relationships and the struggles of British weather.
Supported by her skilled four-piece band, Zola is currently performing on stages far and wide. Her vivacious energy, warmth and honesty when on stage is electrifying. Zola vows to express the peace and inner fight within us all with her music!

NICK TUDGEY
Described as live finger style guitar & entertainment full of passion and energy. Nick Tudgey is a young solo guitarist. Unlike a lot of similar guitarists, he focuses just as much on his playing as he does on being entertaining, whether he's telling funny stories, one liners or playing two songs at the same time. He's not just a guitarist, he's fun for all the family and will not disappoint. He arranges and plays covers of classics that everyone knows and loves and songs from the movies, along with a few lesser-known tracks that are standards in the world of fingerstyle. He draws inspiration from musicians in all genres of music, notably Bluegrass, Jazz and Rock, which all culminate to create his own style. His playing abilities have earned him the respect of world renowned finger style guitarists Andrea Valeri, Michael Fix and Richard Smith.
