Twenty-five year old Ben Poole is currently being described as the most exciting young blues guitarist to come out of the UK for a long, long time.The VillanovasSince forming in 2014, The Villanovas have become one of the most exciting unsigned Rock Bands to emerge from The UK.In 2015, after being named The Blues Magazine’s “Band To Watch," The Villanovas were approached by Metropolis Studios and offered an open invitation To Record in that studio. Recording in Metropolis Studios would put The Villanovas in the same space as so many iconic recording artists. In the Spring of 2016, The Villanovas were honored to headline "The Festival Del Pitic: Hermosillo, Mexico alongside Earth, Wind and Fire, Gilby Clarke, and Ana Moura. It was an amazing experience. Following the band's first tour outside of the UK, The Villanovas embarked upon a tour of Canada that included a string of festivals and club dates. After returning to England, The Villanovas garnered the spotlight of "BBC Introducing," which capped off an outstanding year.
