Jeremy Sassoon

Jazz and Blues singer/pianist Jeremy Sassoon returns to PizzaExpress for his 2017 shows, following sell out gigs in 2015 and 2016. He is one of the UK’s most in-demand Jazz and Blues singer/pianists, wowing audiences with his natural, soulful voice and piano grooves, and a repertoire of his own arrangements of jazz, blues and soul classics.He is joined this year by Berliner Michael Kersting on drums (Jaco Pastorius, Birelli Lagrene, Chet Baker, Trilok Gurtu), Mancunian multi-instrumentalist and producer Jasper Wilkinson on bass, sax player Alexander Bone (BBC Young Jazz Musician of the year, British Jazz Awards “Rising Star” winner) and Richie Aikman, described by Jeremy as “the most exciting young guitarist I've heard for many years”.
