Cult rhythm and blues band Al Ross & the Planets are back. Having started life in the early nineties playing the Soho blues clubs and iconic venues such as The Camden Palace, Brahms and Liszt and the Road House, Time Out music critic Laura Lee Davies claimed that seeing The Planets was “one of the best nights out in London”. The Planets played all over the world, and are remembered for playing brilliant frenzy inducing sets at classic music venues. The band recently reformed to record their brilliant new album “The Planets One” which features a selection of original songs at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. On top of all this, the band have started gigging again – recreating the exciting, wild nights of raw rhythm and blues, Atlantic soul, incredible music and brilliant performances that were so popular back in the nineties.Great music – brilliant musicians – a classic vibe.

“The album features a big band punch and edgy vocals - this is certainly no throw away pop you’d find in the charts today and have forgotten by next month” The Verse Brighton
