Ian McMillan, the Bard of Barnsley, will travel all the way to Sheffield on Friday 10th November to perform in Stannington’s Lomas Hall. The performance is being presented at the request of volunteer managers at Stannington Library to raise funds for and raise the profile of one of Sheffield’s leading volunteer libraries.Yorkshire poet, broadcaster and comedian Ian McMillan will work with partner in rhyme accordionist Luke Carver Goss, and they will present what they call Words, Music, Glee and Delight in ‘a hilarious night of words, music and improv’.
