About this concert
Part vampire movie, part coming-of-age film, Tomas Alfredson’s Let the Right One In is a refreshing visit to an otherwise well trod genre. A young teen, frequently the target of schoolyard bullies, makes a new friend in a mysterious neighbor who has just moved in next door, in what Roger Ebert called “the best modern vampire movie.”This screening is part of a double feature with Fright Night. Musical performances by Salem Wolves.

Salem Wolves Biography
Since 2015, Boston's own Salem Wolves has whipped up an unholy ruckus with their brand of swaggering, tuneful witch rock, landing them on local and national "Best Of" lists, garnering award nominations and critical praise from publications like the Boston Herald, Vanyaland, Allston Pudding, IMPOSE magazine and more. The band was a semifinalist at the 2016 Rock & Roll Rumble before being selected to perform at 2016's Boston Calling Block Party.
2018 saw the release of Salem Wolves' sophomore LP, Shake, an acclaimed mix of darkness-infused garage rock, punk, and glam, produced by the Grammy nominated musician Chris Johnson (Deafheaven). The title track was quickly nominated for Song of the Year in the 2018 Boston Music Awards, while the band itself was nominated for Rock Artist of the Year.
Shake follows the acclaimed 2017 debut LP Tooth & Nail, recorded at the world-famous Converse Rubber Tracks. Produced by Dave Minehan (The Replacements, The Neighborhoods), the album featured singles "From the Vault," "Shameless," "More Weight!" and "Peach."
