About this concert
Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Miwi La Lupa is a recent Omaha, Nebraska transplant from New York. A long way from Buffalo, Miwi formed his musical existence from near and far travels, developing friendships, working with collaborators, and gaining fans along the way. Recently in early 2017, He toured EU/Scandinavia as a supporting act and accompanist for Conor Oberst's "Ruminations" tour, followed by a solo tour in Switzerland with fellow musician and friend Samuel Blatter (Roamer and Fischermanns Orchestra). This September 2017, Miwi will be back in the EU with Samuel Blatter and Roamer performing songs from their wide catalogs.

Miwi La Lupa Biography
Producer, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Miwi La Lupa (Miwi The Wolf) has been hunting songs and musical
pack members since the age of 17 in Buffalo NY. Pulling influence from traditional and contemporary folk music,
black American music, classic country, and indie rock, Miwi has kept the meanings of many of his songs a mystery.
On his hunt, he has collaborated on stage and in the studio, including Bright Eyes, Bill Frisell, Lou Reed, Gillian
Welch, John Prine, Spoon, Red Baraat, Fela! The Broadway Show, and David Byrne. Residing in Omaha, Nebraska,
between extended stays in NYC, he became a regular at ARC studios. Here, he actively contributed to projects
overseen by Mike Mogis, including Miwi's second record ‘Ended Up Making Love’, and 4th record ‘Tips’, produced by
Conor Oberst. Miwi has also toured extensively in the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, supporting artists such
as Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers, Joanna Sternberg, The Felice Brothers, and The Good Life.
Back in his adopted home of Brooklyn, NY writing his 6th record, the hunt continues... from house shows in Pittsburgh to the
Sydney Opera House, Miwi's howl calls out for all to hear. Listen for the story of The Wolf...
