Fyre Byrd Biography
FYRE BYRD are Samtré and Breeze, the Australian born duo who are bursting onto the U.S. scene with a brand of loud, emotional music that often defies genre conventions. Blending elements of high-energy rock, the angst of hip hop, and catchy pop songwriting, these intense moments are hallmarked by unusually fuzzy guitars and relentless, tribalistic work behind the kit, courtesy of drummer Breeze.
FYRE BYRD are an unmatched live band that has no equal in their genre. Seeing their live show unleashes another personality of who you thought you already knew. Breeze, using her unorthodox technique of drumming, dances around her kit as she performs while Samtré, laying flat on his back, takes the feedback to fever pitch and triggers loops of destructive synth lines and pre-made vocal chops. You can tell these siblings are completely in tune with each other as you watch them command the stage with a strong presence, and you tend to forget all of this sound comes from just two people.
