Classic songs of The Who done bluegrass style? Yes, please!
What a fun concept, come to life by these fine musicians. Starting with My Generation, to songs from Tommy, Magic Bus, Sparks, Squeeze Box, Baba O’ Reilly, etc., a great time was had by all (especially me!) Extra credit for it being a FREE show, in a beautiful setting, Lake Meridian park in Kent. Not a bad seat in the ‘house’, and the sun setting behind the stage was pure magic!
I was so impressed, I purchased the Hillbenders first CD, which is a fine collection of original bluegrass songs that made for a foot- tapping, joyous ride home.
