Celebrating 50 years of the Oregon Arts Commission, this special Summit brings together artists and leaders from around the state to discuss the arts and civic engagement. Join us for connection, community-building and insight! This summit features the return of the Governor's Arts Awards celebrating arts leaders from around the state, an incredible keynote conversation with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner and special guests, slam-poet and musician Mic Crenshaw and Randy Cohen speaking on the Arts Economic Prosperity 5 Study. Performances by Poel Laureate Elizabeth Woody, jazz great Darrell Grant, singer Edna Vazquez, BRAVO Youth Orchestras and PHAME Choir—with special guest, Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award-winning teacher Rachel Harry. Breakout sessions will focus on equity, economic impact, education and creativity. This is your chance to be inspired, develop tools and build relationships that will strengthen the fabric of the Oregon arts community!

Scholarship Information:
If you are an Oregon resident, you live more than 100 miles from Portland and the cost to travel to the Summit is prohibitive, you can apply for a scholarship. This will give you a registration waiver and will provide free Summit registration. CLICK HERE to apply before September 15. If approved, you will be emailed a code to register with. Scholarships are limited and prioritization will be given to OAC grantees.
