The Ergon Energy Food & Wine Festival is a signature event of the Carnival that showcases spectacular floral displays, intriguing handcrafted creations and - of course - our magnificent regional produce and boutique wines. Staged over three days in Queens Park, the Festival will boast numerous market stalls, cellar doors and a range of activities including cooking demonstrations from beloved celebrity chef, Anna Gare and gardening demonstrations with Gardening Australia's very own, Sophie Thomson. Enjoy the dedicated children's program for kids of all ages who are welcome to come and play, design, build, discover, draw, cook and create! Friday 15th September: 10am - 10pm Saturday 16th September: 10am - 10pm Sunday 17th September: 10am - 9pm HOT TIP: SATURDAY IS A BIG DAY! If you change your mind or are unable to attend, please note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable to another event or day. You are more than welcome to give your ticket to someone else. Please note that the festival goes ahead rain, hail or shine. Do I need to bring my printed ticket? You can choose to either bring your printed ticket to the event or show your ticket or the QR code on your mobile device. This will be scanned upon entry. Where do I meet? The festival is located in Upper Queens Park, on the corner of Margaret St and Lindsay St, Toowoomba. The main entrance is located on Margaret St. What are the parking options? Limited parking is available around Queens Park on Margaret St, Lindsay St and Hume St. For a hassle-free weekend, take advantage of the free Park & Ride shuttle bus on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September. Simply park your car at Kearney Springs Sporting Ground or Picnic Point parking on Heller Street, jump on the bus and let someone else do the driving. What can I bring into the festival? Outside food and drink is not permitted inside the festival due to Food & Licensing laws. The following items are NOT permitted in the festival: fireworks, illicit drugs, non-media accredited recording devices, laser lights, glow sticks, animals, any other illegal or angerous items. Atendees are more than welcome to bring their own chairs and picnic blankets into the festival. For group bookings, do I need to individually name each person attending? For large groups, you can simply repeat the name of the group or the group leader/organiser for each ticket instead of listing the details for each individual attendee.
