The Tangier welcomes guitarist/vocalist, Grammy nominated producer and entertainer, Rick Derringer! Special guest, Derek St. Holmes, best known as the vocalist and rhythmic guitarist during Ted Nugent's early solo career will preclude the show! In 1965, a young and talented Rick Derringer formed with his band called The McCoys, and at only 17 years old, recorded the No. 1 hit "Hang on Sloopy." This recording was so popular, it knocked The Beatles' "Yesterday" from the No. 1 spot. A few years later, Rick joined his talents with Johnny Winter and eventually, Edgar Winter's White Trash, and later released his solo album, "All American Boy" in 1973. The very popular Derringer has appeared on several albums with artists such as Alice Cooper, Steely Dan, Kiss, Cyndi Lauper, Barbra Streisand, and many more.
