** 21-10-2017 // CLUB UNION, VAUXHALL // TRANSCEND PRES THE FIFTH BIRTHDAY ** **DARK MATTER IN ROOM 2** Catching our breath after our huge July party, attention quickly turns to our annual birthday event. The twin forces of Transcend and Dark Matter combine once again at Club Union to help us celebrate 5 years of electric atmospheres, unforgettable sets, treasured memories and the growth of a real music community across three cities. We’re hosting it slightly earlier this year - our actual birthday being around the start of December - but for us the passion and philosophy remains unchanged. In those 5 years, we’ve been proud to bring you many a star of the trance scene and we’ve become known for giving these stars the time to take you on the kind of journey that club music is really all about. We’ve brought you extended sets from The Thrillseekers, Signum, Dan Stone, Manuel Le Saux and Airwave. Now, it’s time for another fresh name to take up the extended set mantle in an all-out UK exclusive. Our guest is a man who has become known for turning big trance records into even bigger euphoric anthems. His remix discography is vast and memorable, including remixes of Armin Van Buuren’s Not Giving Up On Love, Dash Berlin’s Never Cry Again, Svenson & Gielen’s Twisted, Craig Connelly’s Black Hole and, of course, RAMsterdam - to name but a few. Also regularly releasing on Armin Van Buuren’s A State Of Trance label since 2010, his rasping, symphonic style has become instantly recognisable through solo releases like Cheeky, Headliner, Superfly and New Horizons. We proudly welcome Jorn van Deynhoven to Transcend for an exclusive 3 hour extended set. Joining Jorn, we welcome two legends of the London trance scene who also make their debuts with us. Andres Sanchez has become a real rising star in recent years, with releases on trance’s biggest uplifting imprints such as Extrema Global, Grotesque, FSOE and Subculture. His sound is big, uplifting and perfect for the Transcend dancefloor. Also making his debut, we’re excited to be joined by Mark Landragin, legendary resident and one of the main men behind the undisputed trance phenomenon that is, Trance Sanctuary. Completing the line up in the main room on our birthday is, of course, the man who gave life to Transcend back in late 2012 - the one and only, Ben Dursley. And that is not all! Our 2017 success story, Dark Matter London yet again returns to Room 2, bringing a mixture of deep grooves and pounding techno as the perfect contrast to our uplifting main room. Two rooms, two brands, two sonic journeys - and not to be missed!!
