Melbourne Contemporary Choir is proud to present ‘Watch Me Fly’, our exciting and uplifting concert featuring original and popular artist vocal performances. For the past year, we have been working on a diverse catalogue of Pop, Rock, Soul and Gospel vocal works, which are sure to energise and delight audiences. Featuring guest artist Rod Davies, a live 9-piece band and performances by Melbourne Contemporary Choir and MCYOUTH, this concert will deliver upon our values of community, creativity, and excellence, whilst spreading the joy of music through singing. Following on from the hugely successful 'Time to Shine' EP launch and sell out concert in 2016, Jason Simmonds, Creative Director, will lead us in our third annual concert. Melbourne Contemporary Choir has also performed for Beyond Blue (2016), Bayside City Council's Bay Street Festival (2016), Manningham City Council Carols By Candelight (2016), plus others. This year in the lead up to the concert we will perform for The Salvation Army's Making it Happen Project fund raising concert, Lululemon's Run Melbourne marathon, with more events to be announced later in the year. Melbourne Contemporary Choir is a fresh and progressive contemporary singing ensemble based in Macleod, Victoria. Melbourne Contemporary Choir is un-auditioned and open to adults (Adults 16+) and MCYOUTH is open to teenagers ( 11 - 15). We promote a relaxed, extremely fun and welcoming atmosphere. www.mchoir.com FAQs Venue Location is in Coburg NorthSometimes your navigation app will want to take you to Brunswick instead of North Coburg.
