MUSIC MATTERS Presents DAVE HASLAM AND SPECIAL GUESTS AT SELFRIDGES EXCHANGE SQUARE Join us for a series of in conversations and performances with Dave Haslam - legendary DJ, journalist and author for four unique talks with iconic figures from the world of music Dave Haslam & Bernard Butler Manchester-based writer/DJ Dave Haslam interviews Bernard Butler. Bernard Butler is a gifted guitarist who made his reputation in the band Suede, and has since collaborated with the likes of Neneh Cherry, the Libertines, David McAlmont, and Ben Watt. In 1992 Suede’s debut album ‘Suede’ went to the top of the UK Album Chart – a moment considered by many as the start of Britpop. However, before the release of the follow-up, Bernard left the band (singer Brett Anderson described this moment as “my biggest regret in life”).
