Programme BEETHOVEN: Sonata in D minor Op 32 No 2 'Tempest Sonata' LISZT: Après une lecture du Dante - Fantasia quasi sonata, S161/7 Interval RAVEL: Gaspard de la nuit (complete) BARTOK: Piano Sonata, Sz.80 (1926) Daniel Lebhardt was selected at the prestigious Young Concert Artists Trust Auditions in Paris and New York in 2015, and followed this with his further selection for the London Young Concert Artists Trust representation. In the same year he recorded solo piano works for the recent release of the complete Bartók for Decca and in 2016 won the Most Promising Pianist prize at the Sydney International Piano Competition. Hungarian born, his engagements include concerts at the Kennedy Centre in Washington, DC., the Wigmore Hall, London, the Gardner Museum in Boston, Merkin Concert Hall in New York, the Usedom Music Festival in Germany, Palais Lichtenau in Potsdam, and many festivals including Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Steirisches Kammermusikfestival.
