About this concert
8p-11p. FREE. 21+. The Oar House was kind enough to host The Baron Ward and ALSO Dan Weber and Jerry Towel during the festivities of Pacific City Music Fest 2017. The Baron Ward Biography
Dors Ward and Chris Baron met over cheese and fine sliced meats in 2007. They toured the western US, played many days in and around Portland Oregon, from 2008-2010. This was mostly with the band Huge Sally...but also, they travelled quite a bit on their own. The iconic "red silhouette" photo: help us identify the creator! It was taken either by a gentleman named Paul Merc, in Fresno CA in 2009, or in Portland by Cameron Jack...we can't remember. If YOU do, please let us know. That photo is the whole reason we're back together!
From 2010 to the present day, the friends took a hiatus as various side projects were explored. Dors Ward sang with Broken Soviet...Chris Baron checked out possibilities with William Downing, Searchlights, Idiot Science, The Tummybuckles, A Crab's Life, and Baron Bass Waters.
Today, their friendship is stronger than ever. Voices are charged. New songs are probably...gonna...happen...
