Details Get ready! It's almost walk time! This year will be a monumental event, as we get geared up for Lupus Detroit's 5th Annual Walk for Warriors! This year, our fundraising goal is $40,000! FYI: Dogs are not allowed at New Center Park. Lupus Detroit believes that no Lupus Warrior should have to decide between purchasing their medication and buying food for their families. We realize that everyone needs assistance from time to time. This is why we are thrilled that we are able to offer emergency financial assistance grants in addition to awareness and advocacy events. Your generous donations have made a difference in many Lupus Warriors' lives. Lupus Detroit is a 501(c) (3) charity that is a community based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating lupus as a major health problem through education, advocacy, and service. Registration Fee: There will be a $20 registration fee for all walkers older than 12 years old. This fee will ensure that the most funds possible will go directly to Lupus Detroit's programs and will be applied to the participant/team fundraising total.
