Combining infectious gypsy jazz rhythms with sultry vocals and alt-folk storytelling, Chicago-based quintet lePercolateur has crafted a sound that's reminiscent of a bygone era while being uniquely its own. Grammy-winning critic Neil Tesser called lePercolateur "sly and surprising" for its blend of modern and vintage sounds, and the group has lit up the stage at such Windy City hot spots as the Green Mill, City Winery and Schubas, as well as at numerous festivals. In 2013, lePercolateur released its debut album, "Pop Manouche", on the Chicago Sessions label. Don't miss this sizzling group live at Winter's Jazz Club.
