About this concert
Philadelphia's premiere rock n roll outfit, Low Cut Connie is crossing the Atlantic for the first time for an eight-stop tour of the United Kingdom. Getting official approval this week from none other than Sir Elton John, CBE himself, (I love that so much ~ as heard on his Rocket Hour on Beats 1 Radio), the Connies are invading the U.K. this December.heir most recent LP Dirty Pictures (part 1) has received much attention, gathering praise from Rolling Stone, MOJO, Classic Rock, NPR, radio stations, and fans alike. The record made the short list on NPR's Sound Opinions as one of the "Best Albums of 2017... So Far," and Rolling Stone included it in their "Top 50 Albums of 2017 So Far."Low Cut Connie has held strong on the U.S. AAA and College charts with their raw and soulful "sex-positive" rock n roll. Their first single "Revolution Rock n Roll," their cover of Prince's "Controversy" and their latest single "Dirty Water" have now been spun by over 170 stations."Bridging the gap between saloon singers and barroom rockers, the results playing like Frank Sinatra fronting The Replacements. - MOJO"Their mix of Seventies Stones (but dirtier), the New York Dolls (but tighter) and Jerry Lee Lewis (but Westerberg-ier) comes with an extra sense of bare-knuckled grit and sonic thwump to fight against the darkness." - ROLLING STONE"They are one of the best live bands in the world right now...Of their 4 albums, this is the one that comes closest to the energy of their live show...It has a powerful and necessary message." - NPR

Low Cut Connie lit up the Levitt Pavilion with a show that was nothing short of electric. From the moment Adam Weiner hit the stage, it was clear the crowd was in for something special, With his trademark charisma and unstoppable energy, Weiner had everyone dancing, clapping, and shouting along - it felt more like a rock n roll revival than a concert.
The band delivered a high-octane set full of raw, soulful rock that had the entire pavilion buzzing. From pounding piano solos to crowd interactions that burred the line between stage and audience, Low Cut Connie proved yet again that they're one if the best live acts around. Weiner is a true entertainer in every sense - fearless, funny, and completely in the moment.
It was a night of joy, sweat, and unfiltered passion - the kind of show that reminds you why live music matters. If you ever get the chance to see Low Cut Connie live, do it! This band doesn't just perform - they bring the house down.
