Acolyte exploded onto the Australian music scene with the release of ‘Shades of Black’ in 2016 and have since brought their unique and incredibly powerful musical soundscape to venues across the country. The band have received rave reviews for their appearances, picking up award nominations for ‘Best Live Performance – Oz Music Awards’ and ‘Best Heavy Album – The Age Music Awards’:

“Acolyte has managed to completely blow my mind with a release that is close to flawless” – AMN

“The crowd was put under a mesmerising spell by Acolyte led by Morgan-Leigh Brown who delivered a set so powerful and atmospheric that I went straight out and hunted down their music… If you have never seen this band live then you simply must check them out” – HEAVY MUSIC MAG

“(This) prog-rock quintet is impressive and it’s easy to see why there is a buzz around them” – THE MUSIC

With three Australian tours, three film clips, a documentary and numerous local shows already to their name, the band has gained both national and international attention as a headline act as well as supporting the likes of Twelve Foot Ninja, Bellusira, Crystal Ignite and Jericco.

With a meteoric rise in the last twelve months and a highly anticipated sophomore album on the way with plans for international touring, the band are solidly poised to take their powerful sound and captivating live show to the next level.

Acolyte will embark on the ‘Space and Time’ tour this September which will see the quintet headline shows in Adelaide, Mount Gambier, Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Warnambool and in their home town, Melbourne.

Front woman and vocal powerhouse Morgan Leigh-Brown is energised and excited about the upcoming Australian tour and film clip release:
‘The band has an amazing ability to keep growing and evolving, which has really been the catalyst in inspiring us to produce our most ambitious music video to date. The video represents the final release and chapter from our debut album which we are so proud of. As we celebrate the end of a fantastic journey we are also celebrating the new, currently working vigorously towards the completion of our next record together. We can also announce the preview of some new material for this tour, all epic works, containing strong new sounds from our freshest members whilst remaining inspired by our original soundscapes. The boys and I are incredibly passionate about Acolyte 2.0 and cannot wait to unleash a taste of it throughout this tour!’
