Join us for a program that brings us to the Hispanic roots of San Antonio. We travel through Spain, taking in its flavors, smells, rhythms and melodies. America’s leading soprano, Ana-Maria Martinez, performs De Falla's iconic songs rooted in Spanish folk music and explores the world of Zarzuela. Celebrate our wonderful city’s Tricentennial with one of the most gorgeous voices on the planet.
TRICENTENNIAL FESTIVAL
In 2017-18, Maestro Sebastian Lang-Lessing returns to lead the San Antonio Symphony in a season commemorating the 300th anniversary of our great city with a festival to match the occasion. The Tricentennial Festival will feature Beethoven’s Eroica, Ellington’s The Three Black Kings, Elgar’s Enigma Variations, and so much more!
