Taking their name from the French for gypsy swing, Swing Manouche are a hard swinging gypsy jazz outfit. This is a must not only for gypsy jazz enthusiasts but for those keen to explore this distinct genre of music which was at the cutting edge of the thriving jazz scene during the 1930's and 1940's. Expect gypsy jazz standards, such as classic tunes by the great Django Reinhardt and originals written by the musicians Mick Shoulder and Giles Strong (guitars), Paul Edis (clarinet) and Neil Harland (double bass).

'Accessible, uplifting music, brilliantly performed by four top musicians'- BeBopSpokenHere
