The Phil Meadows Project continues the journey for his multi-award winning music. Combining jazz elements with ambient-electronica, classical and contemporary music Meadows has established himself as one of the most distinctive, creative and talented young musicians in the UK. As the recipient of two Parliamentary Jazz Awards, a London Music Award and the prestigious Peter Whittingham Jazz Award the Phil Meadows Project kickstart their UK tour here, at the Conscia Jazz Festival, showcasing an important wave of British talent ahead of recording Meadows’ third album.

Exploring new musical relationships and fresh influences you’ll hear soaring melodies combine with head-nodding grooves, atmospheric soundscapes and intricate interplay as Meadows’ new sounds tip influence towards the music of Go-Go Penguin, Portico Quartet, Bill Laurance, Donny McCaslin and Tigran. Performance highlights include sold-out shows at Ronnie Scott’s, commissions to work with the Royal Northern Sinfonia at Sage Gateshead and showcases in Belgium and Holland. At just 27 Meadows has also collaborated with Ingrid Jensen, Phronesis and the Matthew Herbert Big Band and is the former lead-alto of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
